Over many years in Malaysia you need sometime to be close to the nature. This jungle trail is behind the old golf course of Ampang. It's trail is not to steep and guides you along old gardens via jungle trails to a nice lake. Here you can choose either to take one or two laps around the lake before you go back to your car which shall be parked near the main entrance of the golf course. For more time spendings you can hike from the lake to various hills around that place. It's all jungle. Don't forget to take a small bottle of water along.

Actually when anything is good there are few good words. There are lots of food shops. There waterfalls are hidden and great places for adventure.
This forest area is so cool. That is what true nature lovers will say. Also there are many places for eating food.If you like you can bring your own food too.Do remember to pack up and clean the place. There is an entrance fee but this is collected only at some time. There is major construction going on to improve the place. The water in the river is really middle cool meaning to say there is a chance to have a good bath. Many people come for early morning Jogs and meditation.,At this place if you come often you can reduce your weight and tension. This place is secure too.Even the monkeys have become disciplined. There is a bus service .There is a decent car park too.

This is a small recreational park in Ampang. Less than 1 km to reach the end. Only best to walking & children swimming at the river. Facilities is not well maintain & environment is getting worse becouse of construction working is on going in the park

Each part of this Forest is great. Also many people are involved in selling food items. Most of all there are great places for a long dip in the water. The river changes based on the rain fall.Actually many people come here for their own reasons. There is an entry fee of RM 1.00 per person. There is some construction going on but still the forest is open for visitors. The water from the river helps in healing process. Some people even leave fish for offering and prayers. All in all a good place in the nearby city.

It's great that Ampang still have a forest but from what I had seen in my only visit there, the forest looks like it's dying. Some of the big trees were either dead or lost most of the leaves. But to be fair, that time was during the hot season.

The whole area lacks a lush greenery that comes with fresh air. Instead, the air is polluted by the constant menace of motorbikes and cars going in and out endlessly. Engines and exhaust noise are the only sound we heard, there are hardly birds chirping. Vehicles shouldn't be allowed to go in to encourage more people to walk.

It's great if the authorities could plant more forest trees, shrubs or ferns to make the forest denser. Actually, on a positive note, look for a cluster of dracaena trees which bear flowers. It's a rare sight for me though because as houseplants, they seldom flower. The streams are nice too, scenery wise~

Okay it is like this....this attraction is in the middle of the city in some way and has a lot of development going on such as an overhead bridge and there are many houses nearby. However the river is great with such pure water.Lots of people come for picnics here with costly cars.Ofcourse there are wild animals here but we can learn some tricks.
The stones in the river create creeks. There are places for climbing inside the water flow.
There are a few cascades where young people experiment jumping and then laugh a lot. There are bicycle trails too.
Once in a while there are stalls selling food.it is however better to bring your own food. There are people who create campfires and eat great food.
All in all a lovely place that is not talked about.
There is a tiny entrance fee of RM.1.00 person.....a small fee to help in the development and salaries.
Also this place has great places to take photos. too.
Some people come in wheel chairs too. There are a few places if you immerse yourself you can get physical healing.
The air is so pure here.
If you love KL this is the place you should be.
There is a slow bus but any taxi can get you here. For more precise details ask me as I can conduct a tour for anyone.
Bring a lot of clothes. There is a need to upkeep the buildings however.

Ok it is like this. This is a nature reserve. There are great things to do here.Lots of hot girls and guys are here.By this I mean there are people with skimpy clothes or much less and you can see all.And if you like you can bring your pals for any of the thrills you seek.Lots of people disrobe here. This is a family place but everyone really loves the water. There are cascade parts too. There are parts where you swim you can cure of your body ailments and cancers and even epilepsy.

Most of all there are tiny fast streams that allow a kind of Jacuzzi feeling.I often go here when I can.I will load pictures soon. The wandering monkeys mind their own business. They keep away from Humans these days. Some places in the river are very deep. There are changing rooms and toilets too.
There is an entrance fee of RM 1.00
You can bring your snacks and other food for frying.Lots of foreigners are here with barbeque pits.
This place is very near apartments .There is even a bus service here.If you have a car you can visit near Aeon( formerly Carrefour)

Some genius decided to build a highway not far from this place. So its not worth the effort. It was once a ok place to enjoy the"Jungle" with a nice river running thru it wont be long before it will be a thing of the past.

As you can see from my previous reviews , there are many great features here that are taken for granted. Now you can bring your badminton racquets and play a game of Badminton. After that game you anyone can wash off the sweat from the body.On another day we played frisbee.A lot of people are playing games on the banks of the river. Some people are even cooking food. Most of all we were enchanted by the monkeys. They like to get something from Humans all the time.Plus they can be a bit funny playing on the trees. There are deep and shallow parts on this River Stream. If you come by your own car you can enjoy more delights. You can bring your own food or try to purchase additional items from a stall nearby. Some people take lots of photos as they like to see natural rivers. The waters have a very calming effect and can cure the body of pain, sleepiness and other ailments. There are many changing rooms too. There is an iconic bridge too. Some people even come with their bikes for riding.
