Worth visiting. An awesome peaceful place. You can relax and calm down from the rat race. Get here, get your parents here. The environment is laid back. HPDTC is the best place ..amazing view, clean rooms , great hospitality. Not many places to stay in Rewalsar but we styed here and can say it was the best choide made. Amole parking. Lovely room service. Its a great stiop over for Naina Devi also.

While driving to rewalsar, it opens up suddenly from the lap of mountains as the Lotus opens up.

It is such a peaceful and beautiful place, that one must go there to experience by themself.

It is a small buddhist town (go on the net and read the origin stories), with nice Monasteries and a couple of temple and a Gurdwara. Don't get biased by the religious significance of the place, it is a very beautiful place.

However, if you seek adventure and activities, do not go there, it is a place to be there.. just enjoy the clam of the place.

Best place to stay is HPTDC guest house, with polite staff and very good food.

There are quite a few places to eat, best place is "Emaho Cafe" which is run by the Monastery and managed by awesome Monk Negji, you must not leave rewalsar without stopping here.

Also take short trip to Naina devi because the views of town are brilliant enroute

Rewalsar is very small town surrounded by temples, Monestries, Gurudwara (Sikh Pilligram place).
Day tour is sufficient or you want to relax then you can stay for 1-2 days.
Small eating places are there. Stay can be in Himachal government tourism guest house, Monestries, normal hotels or in Home stays

Rewalsar, a town in the region of Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Notable as Trisangam for its highest strict qualities for three of the most followed religions in India, Rewalsar invites each vacationer for a calmly holy person experience to accomplish soul chasing.

We initially had a booking in HPTDC’s Tourist Inn in their suite
It was a total disappointment to go in that
Water spilling in washrooms,Hot water not coming in taps, gap in doors and windows so Fresh Chilly Air entering the suite
No heater and moreover very bad hospitality
A complete Sarkari cramp
So left for Manali same dat at 8:45 PM
Now about Lake and other stuff: No hygienic vegetarian food available anywhere in Rewalsar. All non-vegetarian
Going to a sacred place and no veg food
We being pure vegetarian, had a very tough time with kids
Thank God that we had our own snacks and soft drinks
Weather is beautiful
To walk around lake is a bliss
People are friendly
Road from Ner Chowk to Rewalsar and then to Mandi is good motor able with blind curves
So drive cautiously and slow
This time I am driving my Skoda Superb
In lake area, they charge Rs 30/- from vehicles for 24 hours
To visit Statue was a good experience
There is a sacred tunnel called Naina Devi Gufa on top of hill
It is fun driving there
You can also trek
Two sweet shop serves good Tea and Pakoras, one by the side of Temple around lake and one near Bus Stand
Raddish (Mooli) local is very tasty
It tastes like Turnip(Shalgam)
Hope you guys have good idea
Thanks

We spent 4 days in Rewalsar but we could easily stay longer.
It’s the perfect place for those who love quiet and peace.
We slept in a monastery and the room was big and clean, with private toilet for 250RS/night.
