If you are in the area (i.e. because you were visiting the Trifels fortress) you should really make the time to visit the Devil's table too! It's only roughly about 15 minutes by car from the fortress to the Devil's table and there's no entrance...More

Recently been there and it was a good experience. The so called devils table is only 300 m from the parking place. But it was very nice to roam around and after that did lunch at nearby restaurants and it was too good!

The Teufels Tisch is just off the main road that passes through the town of Dahn. It can be seen in about a 15 minute stop, unless you want to take some pictures. (No Selfies Please)

created naturally by wind erosion the table stands overhead balanced on a pinnicle of rock. Its a bit of climb to get there, but worth the effort.

One of the most interesting and surprising attractions in the Pfalz-area: a stunning, mush room shaped rock formation (in German: Pilzfelsen) with a certain sense of drama, because of its unstable appearance. Good parking facilities, a large play ground and some restaurants are nearby.
