This castle and it’s historic surroundings is a must visit and with the old part of the town being restored this town is on the up again. The view of the valley is astounding.

The drive to the small town is awesome. The walk to the castle is amazing. To think people lived here hundreds of years ago is amazing. Worth the trip.

Unfortunately it was closed when we visited (undergoing renovations), but the views and the walk up to the castle alone are worth it. The town itself is also very picturesque and unspoilt, albeit largely abandoned, and is one of my favourite little Italian villages. I...More

A must visit. Part of the castle is still in ruins after a napoleonic visit. There is a restored area for a visitor centre and functions. Ooh imagine a party or wedding....
