Incredible tour, beautiful cave, the tour guide gave so much great information and was lovely to chat to, languages picked are based on tourguide and amount of people we had english and italian. Place was easy to find, next to a restaurant of the same name, we didnt eat there but looked good. Arrived in between tours so waiting (tour times 12 and 2), tickets 12euros. Tour lasts 1-1:30 hours. Theres a nice picnic spot if you keep walking up. Also should visit the honey hut next to the cave tour. It gets cold and humid in the cave but if youre from a cold country its fine (managed it in a mini dress and sandals).

Finding details about tour times was difficult so we just showed up. It’s really not near a whole lot but gps and road signage got us there. There was only a German and French tour but we were game and it didn’t disappoint. The guide was great and the grottos are beyond cool. There is a lot of walking, many stairs and it is muddy and slippery. Wear shoes with tread and be prepared. The highlight of our Sardinian trip so far.

Fantastic place to visit! We got there easily there were plenty of road signs. The roads were pretty good. It’s a lovely drive up and we stopped off for food in Jerzu.
We caught the last trip down the cave, There was quite a large group of mixed ages and nationalities.
The tour was very interesting Andy the cave itself is stunning!
But the thing that made it for us was the guide. She was very engaging, entertaining and enthusiastic. She translated each section into English and was a delightful host. Safety conscious and very patient. She made sure to included the children and didn’t rush. We learnt about the bat colony and even saw a few. Learned there are several different types of animal species resident in the caves. GREAT GUIDE!!
When we went to the cafe and gift shop the staff there were equally helpful, friendly and appreciative.
We thought enjoyed our visit! And would highly recommend to all able bodied as it is quite a walk. FANTASTIC SERVICE AT A VERY SPECIAL PLACE!!!

I’m sure the cave itself is lovely but we had a horrible experience here today. Our sat nav took us on a wild adventure to find the cave which meant we arrived later than planned and between the times of two guided tours. We purchased our tickets which were €12 per person expecting to have to wait until the next tour time which was an hour and a half away. We didn’t mind waiting, but we were delighted to be told they were happy for us to explore the cave in our own time if we didn’t mind not having a guide. So, we were given a few facts about the cave and off we went. Be prepared for a fair climb up some steps to reach the cave but there are many stopping points if you need to catch your breath. The cave itself is lovely and was lit to show you the stunning surfaces and spectacles inside. However, we’d only got around halfway when we came across the earlier tour group and the tour guide started questioning us, demanded to see our tickets and, even upon showing them to her and relaying the information from her colleague at the ticket desk, processed to make us exit the cave. The way she spoke to us made us feel as though we’d done something wrong. So, when we reached the ticket office again my husband went inside with her to speak with the colleague who had given us permission to go into the cave. The lady at the ticket office confirmed that she’d given us permission and couldn’t understand why the tour guide made us leave. We asked if we could have a partial refund given we didn’t see the whole cave and the tour guide said no. The whole experience made us feel really uncomfortable which is a shame as I’m sure we’d have loved the attraction otherwise. They did offer for us to then join the next tour group but we didn’t feel comfortable accepting after the way we’d been treated by the tour guide who would have been running the next tour as well.

Very nice spot. Something else than beaches to visit in Sardinia! The place is beautiful and the guide was very nice and answered all our questions! We really had a nice time. Don’t forget your sweater and after don’t forget to visit the honey place next to it, amazing honey!!!

Firstly, even with google maps, it was difficult to find. There is no website in English. Double check for English tour as we went at 2pm and the tour guide spoke Italian and German.
Wear sensible shoes, something with grip as the cave floors are very slippery. The walk to the caves was hard work with the heat. Also there is no easy access once the tour is complete. You have to retrace your steps all the way. There are some strange rock formation but nothing outstanding.
Lastly, we had a snack at the cafe/restaurant on site, just a couple of panini’s, but there bread was very dry. No oil, butter or mayonnaise, salad on the bread.
All in all, waste of time and money

We never went to a cave before, so today we visited the cave of Su Marmuri and both of us were absolute stunning. The guide was passionate and absolutely well known about the details of the cave. We enjoyed it how he speaks about his “playground” and learns us about caves in general. The tour was about 1h30min, inside the temperature is going down to about 10 degrees. So, it’s absolute fresh and I suggest to bring a coat. The stairs are slippery so we also suggest to wear real shoes. Once you are inside the cave, Watch to the spectacular nature, listen to the guide and enjoy the your!

Some details: tour costs adult 12 euro. At least 4 people for the tour. Call them before you go there they have times for the tour I don’t know them all but 16:00 and 18:00 o’clock for sure. 18:00 o’clock is the last tour of the day

Well worth the drive into the mountains (beautiful scenery).

Great cave system, easily accessible.

The tours in English I believe were 12.00 and 16.00. 14.00 wasn’t! But that was fine.

Well worth the visit.

Currently the cave is open 3 times per day, there are different language options available but not all of them every day so make sure to check in advance. The entry fee is 12 euros, the walk takes about 1h or so. The cave is really impressive so pack some warm clothes and go there.

An interesting and "cool" change from beach attractions. Good explanations from a guide. The shapes of stalactites and stalagmites in the cave like from a fairy tale. Although it is sometimes a fairy tale... for adults.
