Away from the hurly burly of day trippers - no miles of golden sands but some superb views of one of the iconic estuaries of Wales. Keep away if you want to mingle with crowds and seagulls and the bucket and spade brigade.

On Wednesday, after one of our regular day trips to Llandudno, Hubby and I decided to visit nearby Deganwy. Parking was limited due to it being peak holiday season. The beach is mainly shingle and a bit of grass. There is a concrete pathway running...More

I just love Deganwy beach, so much to see. The views range from Conwy mountain around to Anglesey and on to the Great Orme. Always something going on in the estuary, boats etc it's just a lovely place to be!

Nice quiet beach, more for walking along than sunbathing. It's clean and tidy though. Nice beach to walk along

Wide beech cleaned daily with wide expanse of sand. Part of the beech is dog free which is very refreshing today

Myself husband and Labrador visited this beautiful beach on a gloriously sunny Saturday afternoon. We walked up to Llandudno west beach were a convenient bowl of water was waiting outside the cafe. We passed many walkers exercising their dogs and all had an amazing time.

They had done a lot of work when we were there in September. Most of the prom was complete but not all seats were open. However, that was three months ago so more work will have been done in that time.
