This is a lovely pub. The landlord and landlady are very friendly, the staff are fantastic and lovely. The food is superb, and the Beer is very well kept. Seriously recommend stopping off if you're passing through.

Probably the friendliest pub in the area. Several draught ales always available, and always very well kept. A proper local, where you can call in on impulse, and join in the conversation, or sit and read the paper - or even both, whatever you choose.
