You can do this boat trip to visit this Russian miming town. It is weird as there is a small school, a small medical. Looks very abandoned little place.

Found this small museum very interesting. There was an honesty box to pay a small fee and it was packed full of interesting and informative exhibits. Well worth a visit.

The cruise ship stopped in Barentsburg on the way to Longyearbyen. The museum staff is helpful and friendly. The exhibits are limited but interesting. Worth the small interest price.
