This is one of the islands most beautiful beaches with it's calm, multi-hued waters, long stretch of white sand, and cooling breezes. It is clean, lots of water sport options, and abundant seaside shops and restaurants along its entire length. Most of this has been driven by the huge influence of the cruise industry dropping hundreds of people onto the... More

We love this beach! There are all types there and go for it and go and enjoy! Beach is super clean! Lots of chairs and umbrellas to rent if you want one. Water is nice and warm.

A nice beach on the island's French side. Great for swimming, soaking up the sun or just sipping a tropical cocktail in one of the beach bars. There are lots of beach chairs and bars around. Showers and bathrooms are also available. The only bad thing is - this beach is extremely popular and very busy. When the season kicks... More

This is a must stop if you visit St Maarten. The beach is lined with bar/grill restaurants and small shops. Water sports are available as well. Most places have wifi, all be it a little sketchy, and you can rent a lounge chair with umbrella for $8-10 per person for the day at many places. The french side is more... More

We stayed at the Esmaraldo Resort which was a five minute walk to the beach. The section allocated for the resort was uncrowded and very beautiful. The sand is white and the ocean conveyed three different colors. The water was very nice and the people enjoyed all sorts of water activities. We walked the entire beach and enjoyed it immensely.... Gorgeous beach. Beautiful water and draws a crowd.Nice restaurant/bar, shopping. Two sides to it, 1 side is clothing optional. If you can handle the sights go for it. My buddy went down and took a peek came back and said he'd never get that ugly image out of his head. We did enjoy our time on the clothed side.

This is my favorite beach in the world! It's gorgeous and I have been to prettier beaches.. But what makes is the BEST is: ALL of this together on one beach! * Gorgeous bay * Clear warm water * Beach chairs and umbrellas * Amazing French food from Paris served on the sand at numerous beach restaurants * Bourdeaux or...
