Definitely a must for plant lovers, stunning views and a huge selection of Mediterranean plants, beware there are no refreshment facilities so make sure you take a supply, especially on a hot day. Plenty of places to stop and admire the view.

Nobody tells you that by August, most of the specimens have already flowered so you won’t see anything like the colourful carpet in the leaflet! Obvious? Perhaps, but we’d expected something more. Neither do they say that it’s unbelievably hot, without much shade, and that...More

While the tourists fill every square inch of the local beaches, take the time to visit this exquisite hillside botanic garden. You’ll pretty much have the place to yourself and you’ll be thankful for that. The views across the Med are fantastic, the cacti garden...More

We walked from Llafranc and thoroughly enjoyed the garden. The cactus shelf is fab. No cafe or toilets in the centre of garden so maybe take provisions.

Walked from Calella via the coastal path. Well worth the effort, even on a hot and humid day. Very attractive gardens and views with plenty of variety. Cactus garden particularly striking. Well laid out and easy to identify the plants. Printed guide is very helpful....More

We spent a morning here wandering around and reading in the beautiful gardens. Can’t fault the location nor how well maintained the gardens are just found the entrance fee a bit steep.

Apparently there is a bus service but only in July and August from Calella de Palafrugell on the coast or I think Palafrugell town. quite difficult with local transport. We walked from Calella but it is quite a walk
