This place is located between the Colegiata and the Hotel Juan II and next to the adjacent gardens. You get an extremely good panoramic view of the old Roman (It is really Romanesque) bridge, river Duero and surrounding countryside. No visit to Toro is complete...More

Great panoramic views over the River Duero from the pretty gardens overlooking the River or from the local hotel nearby. There is a walk down to the bridge and river but it is quite steep and on a hot day hard work returning!

This is a clifftop walkway from the cathedral, past the Hotel Juan II to the Alcazar. Great views of the river, stone bridge, vineyards and beyond!

A great space to walk along and look across at a tremendous panorama. Great photographic points. A must for any visitor to Toro.

Fantastic views over the river Duero, also perfect location for sightseeing as it's right next to the colegiata and the main street where all the tapas bars are.

Look down onto the vines from this great place next to the church (which has a simply stunning 'must-see' portico inside).

Just behind the Colegiata de Santa Maria, Toro has a famous 'mirador' with a stupendously romantic view over the Duero river stretching away into the distance. As I stood there, it struck me that King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella also probably stood about here before...More
