One of trekking paradise of south India.It is located near Kukke Subramanya Temple.For trekking lovers this place is best suited one. We planned to climb the mountain, but due to small children didn't. It is 14 kms from one side, food is available in the middle.

This is not an easy trek as it is long Camping near manta pa is awesome exp Lunch at Bhatru Mane is not to be missed.. you can also camp here One night camping is adviced as it is long You can start from Somwarpet side and get down at Subramanya side.

This trek is one of its kind. One side around 14km. If you are on your first trek n feel that u can do this, you ARE WRONG. Don't think that I'm discouraging, but come prepared to feel the heat, as during the ascent for most of the time you will be climbing at 45 degrees and this will be... More

good place for trekking. i went in summer. i faced very heat weather. there is no water means limited water. but location is very goood. in winter or rain season is suitable for enjoying .

A huge range of mountains at the backdrop of Subramanya temple - one of the highest footfall temples in Karnataka. So natural choice for trekkers and mountaineering? Beware, it's difficult terrain with hardly any shades after the initial ascent and worse yet, there are no facilities for trekkers. This trek taught important life blessings to me. 1. Improve fitness levels- I used to be a lazy lad, once we started of the trek energy levels would be inversely proportional to the no of meters climbed. 2. Help each other - at times as a group we have to help each other to reach destination[handling with leaches, morale strength.....].... More

The trek from Kukke Subramanya, up the hill, up to 5 KM is through very dense forest. this stretch is very good. After 5 Km. the trail is along the ridge, with beautiful views on either side. Had a wonderfull shivratri with so much immeresed in nature. 700rs per day and our arrangements were all done. Thanks for the info on arrangements. It helped us a lot. Contacted the below number 7022164481/81510 36344 for all the arrangements.Breakfast,lunch,tents were all given. Great arrangments and very reasonable.
