a peaceful site, full of history hidden away beneath the Clywedog Dam. A down side though concerning the public pathway leading away from the site and on to the reservoir. The path after about half a mile comes to a farm yard which it continues...More

Great old buildings with sheep wandering around them. Getting the feel for how they once worked was really good.

Really interesting place to visit in the shadow of a large dam. Seeing how and where people lived and worked in a long forgotten era is something i always find interesting. Today's youngsters could learn a thing or two!

Sorry for my delay in replying. Our day was a sunny and dry one. Some places could be slippery on a wet day.
