Refresh your senses and be sure to stop at Mayfield Lavender Farm if you are in the area. It is a wonderfully unique place to visit and as a local driving past purple fields all summer long, and never fails to delight and amaze friends I introduce or take there. It is a great educational stop for children of all... More

This is a great place for all of the family to explore and enjoy. Obviously, it is better at certain times of the year

Went out to the farm with my wife and daughter....was a lovely outing just to be in the warmth of the sun and in the fields with the sea of mauve all around you. The skies Criss crossed with the vapour from planes and the awesome perfume of the lavender was something I will remember for years to come .... More

Handy that this place is located just around the corner from me. We have been meaning to go for years but never got around to it until this last summer! Lovely place and definitely worth a visit!

Think its a cheek to have to pay to visit & the coffee is awful - give it a miss. Lavender looks & smells lovely though.

We had drove from London to visit Mayfield Lavender Field Café & Shop and planning to have lunch there. The entrance fee was really economical, £1 per adult aged 16 or over. Parking is free. Gate locked at 7pm. When we arrived it was cloudy but once the sun is out, it is as picturesque as it can be- lines... More

Hi Katherine Thank you for your 5 star review. I am happy you enjoyed your visit. We tried picnics for 6 years but each year the issue of rubbish being discarded in the field became worse so unfortunately we now have to put restrictions in place. With best wishes Brendan More

This is a beautiful place to visit. More like a park then a farm to be honest. Loved the retro chrome trailer in the middle of the field. So iconic. Staff are friendly and helpful. Even offered to help take photos for us. It's quite busy with people bustling all over doing their own thing. So be patient and courteous.... More

I like it i went there with my kids hubby and friends it was nice & clean my kids love the tracker ride the only thing I didn't like it the cafe I wait to wait 45 minutes to place a order for the coffee and it didn't taste nice at all so I was quite upset about it.

Thank you for your review Lisa Sorry that you didn't enjoy your coffee and that you had to queue for so long. All the staff have been working as fast as possible during the busy days of summer and we sometimes simply could not serve fast enough to get the queues down. We will take on board your comments and... More
