I wouldn’t go out of my way to get here but if you are in the area worth stopping by. It’s on a rocky out crop jut north of the town and is part of the history of the area.

Another tower part of the old watch tower system built in the XVI century, torre Lapillo stands for the awesome location overlooking one of the best beaches on the Jonian coast.

I gave it a point out of 5 because the sky was clear. I haven't even seen the infamous crystal clear water. With the water at knee height I couldn't see my feet. And all I'll say is that it's better....

The town of Torre Lapillo is a fraction of Porto Cesareo. From here it is possible to quickly reach the most beautiful beaches with crystal clear water such as that of Riva degli Angeli, Liso Max in the Punta Prosciutto part of the coast. The beaches alternate with free and equipped ones, with heavenly sand and water. Wonderful places! I recommend visiting neighboring villages such as Nardò: a very pleasant discovery! Visit Puglia!!!!
