The Museum encompasses several displays over about a square km of the old town. It is not easy to actually figure out in advance where everything is - but there is a tourist office and they can help with a map.

The history of this area spans centuries and the museum includes Roman, Visigoth, Moorish and Christian periods. It is displayed very nicely and is well worth a visit.

A beautiful and well-presented museum of local Islamic art. Most originated from the 12th and 13th century. Lots had been dug out in the castle area. Items were surprisingly well preserved and/or restored.
