I wasn't impressed by the waterfall. But the hike was really nice although the path wasn't always clear. Saw turtles, a water snake and lots of birds by the river.

This is a nice place to watch the swallows and raptors flying overhead. Be careful, though, the walk and stairs are crumbling in areas.

It takes quite a journey to make it to Pulo do Lobo. You have to open and shut some private gates so a city slicker may not appreciate this attraction. However we found it to be very worthwhile, very peaceful, and most enjoyable.

This is a wild place. The late light makes for lovely photographs. I am not a photographer, but it is breath taking. The power of water is all about you. You can see it in all the rocks. Not sure if it is ever crowded...More
