About
Pt. Leo Estate is indeed a visual feast for all who visit with art, rolling vineyards and ocean views commanding the horizon as far as the eye can see. From the moment guests arrive, they are taken by the sweeping views that emerge in front of them encapsulating glimpses of Phillip Island, across the 50-acre vineyard, landscapes of grazing cattle and an expansive 16- acre Sculpture Park with the vast Westernport Bay. Comprising a Cellar Door & Wine Terrace at one end and ‘Laura’, our fine dining restaurant at the other, the Pt. Leo Restaurant experience sits at the heart of this world-class venue.

    Best of the Lot
Was here on Friday . Nice modern posh estate . Great tasting experience with Victor from Brazil - friendly , personable and knowledgeable . Patiently brought us thru the tastings and answering our many questions . Great wines too - the Chardonnay n 2019 Pinot noir My favourite winery on this trip and will visit again when in this part

    A fantastic place for lunch
Had a great lunch here. Amazing views. Great staff who put in extra effort (not asked for) as we were celebrating a special occasion. Sculpture park is also well worth a visit.

Very nice restaurant with huge park with sculptures
This is our second winery day trip from Melbourne. Weather was not as good today and it was a bit cloudy. In fact, it became foggy later on the day but that didn't spoil our mood for fun and good food. My personal recommendation were the king crab caramelle pasta and the charcoal drunken chicken (been addicted to ordering chicken lately since my Parisian trip a couple of months ago). The cabbage was also very nice wit a deliberately slightly burnt edge. The dishes here are quite refined and yet the overall dining area is still casual. There is another fine dining restaurant (Laura) within the same complex. The park outside has a lot of famous artwork and if you dine at their restaurant, you can have free access, otherwise, there is an entrance fee (ard AUD15+ but there are family packages). Absolutely recommend.

    Wonderful sculpture park
Located at the Pt Leo Estate Vineyard is this extensive sculpture park set on several hectares and with lovely water views. Like all sculptures some made more sense to us than others but we enjoyed it all the same. Entry is free if you have a booking at the Pt Leo Estate Restaurant. Otherwise it is $15 per adult which is a bit steep. The full circuit takes a full one hour or longer if you linger at each artwork.

    Fantastic Sculptures, Food and Wine
Fantastic experience here, the sculptures are amazing - best to allow an hour or more to wander around the site and enjoy this wonderful experience. Also ideal to book ahead for the resturant. We started in the wine tasting area just for a quick bite before visiting the sculptures and to wait until a table was available for dining. We had the best foccacia ever tasted ! The resturant food was absolutely delicious and menu items catered for my fructose intolerance. All staff were very friendly and the service was impeccable. They also have a degustation menu for the top-end resturant 'Laura' opposite the dining area.

Visiting from interstate to attend the Australian Open for a week, we (a group of 10) headed to the Morning Peninsula for wine tasting for a day. Hearing so many good things about the Port Leo Estate we decided to make this our final visit for lunch. The restaurant has a magnificent outlook and the food is fabulous, however the service was so disappointing. We decided on the tasting menu; having ordered the wine it did not arrive until the beginning of the third course. Then every wine we subsequently chose it seemed was unavailable, which is fine, except it took about 20 minutes to be informed of this and then equally as prolonged to be served a replacement. This led to some awaiting to eat their steak until the red wine arrived only to find, not surprisingly, that the meat was cold. It should not be so hard in such a high end restaurant to coordinate the fundamental coordination of food and wine. Leo Estate you need to lift your game!

Went with three friends for lunch on the lawn. THE GOOD: the views were fantastic, and the place is very neat and tidy and a lovely setting. The BAD: we were told you had to order your meals via your phone; so after spending the first few minutes grappling with the technology instead of enjoying the ambience, we all used our table number to submit our orders. We assumed that as we were all quoting the same table number and submitted them at the same time, that the meals would also arrive at the same time. Big mistake, our friend's meals appeared almost 1/2 hour before ours did. My $25 fish burger was the smallest of buns, and the patty inside looked and tasted more like a veggie burger without any hint of taste of fish. Our friend's chicken caesar salad appeared to be a few cold left over chicken bits with a couple of sad bits of lettuce and nothing else. I suspect the chef was channeling Fawlty Towers (Waldorf salad anyone?).

Thank you for providing us with this feedback and apologies for the late response. It is unfortunate that the menu with a focus on seasonal and regional produce failed to provide you with a positive and memorable dining experience. We take all feedback regarding food seriously and can assure you that your review has been forwarded onto Kitchen Management. We hope you choose to visit us at Pt Leo Estate again in the future.

We have eaten here each summer for the past couple of years and really enjoy dining in the restaurant (i.e. no the high end Laura). The menu is really large and I could have chosen multiple dishes as so man caught my eye. All 6 of us enjoyed our main course and dessert. Service was terrific. Mocktails a triumph.

We started here with a tour of the Art works which are all very interesting and set in a lovely environment. The Sculptures are worth a visit here even if not dining . My only criticism is the the Sculpture garden has a $10 entrance charge for diners. I can understand the charge if just visiting but wonder if it is necessary for diners in the restaurant. The restaurant is delightful. It has magnificent views and a comprehensive menu appealing to all tastes. They were very good at catering for food allergy. The staff were delightful, very professional but also friendly with good knowledge of the menu. The food was exceptional ,full of flavour and beautifully presented. Wines were also very good. Highly recommend a visit here

Just had lunch at Point Leo Estate.

No option for two courses and consequently, we were forced into 3 courses at $110 per head .
We ordered oysters to start, at an additional cost. One came unopened. Slack!
No apologies! Even slacker!
Prawn Starter was tasteless , main course of fish was excellent but of course the price gouging ensured we had to pay for sides. Waiter couldnt even remember my order, and drinks came out wrong. No excuse when we finally received the bill at $175 per head and only 4 out of 6 had modest allowance of wine.
Views sculptures are magnificent, and decor and restaurant could rival best in Victoria.
What a shame the restaurant is focused on clipping the ticket on everything rather than delighting customers.
I won’t return and would never recommend this place for friends.

My wife and I drove here for a visit, as we have not been here before. With no international travel due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 2021 is the year of local travel for us.

We have done 5 road trips this year and have booked another 6 road trips for the next few months.

This place is unique due to the very well maintained and very beautiful sculpture park. We enjoyed our visit.

We didn't drink the wine or eat in the restaurant (but we had a coffee) - however we believe that both are wonderful.

Instead, we went there to experience the Sculpture Park and were not disappointed. Set on a slightly sloping hill with a wonderful view over the coast, we went on the delightful long walk around the park to view the entire sculpture inventory.

What a beautiful part of Victoria's delightful features. The sculptures were many and varied. Each had its "personal" space to contrast against lawns, bushes or trees. Beautifully and masterfully developed and maintained.

A fabulous place to visit yourself or bring interstate or overseas visitors.

Granted, it was a busy public holiday, but the service was crap.
There are two restaurants. One you have to book and the other is a café with no reservations. The line up for food and drinks at the cafe was thirty deep and out the door for over an hour.
I thought I would go to the large bar between the two food outlets to order drinks while we waited. I swatted off the flies and headed inside. There was two bartenders and no customers. I asked for a wine, beer and orange Joie off the menu, only to be told very rudely that “This bar only serves wine. Beer and soft drinks are outside.”
We left without ordering any food as most of what was coming out looked very average.
The sculptures are okay. The collection favours dead men who specialised in metal. There are a few notable exceptions, but as a collection I have seen better at many of the free sculpture festivals around the country. Not worth $100 for the book.
The only guy earning his keep is the Groundsman. Beautifully designed and manicured gardens, lush and green despite the drought.
He must be using the crap attitude of the staff to fertilise the gardens. Which also explains all the flies.
There are better ways to spend your day and your money.

We went to the Point Leo Estate winery today.

They had a big sculpture park you could walk around. Cost was $10 per adult and $5 for seniors.

The walk around the park could take up to 60 minutes. The ground was paved and quite flat, so it is easy walking.

There were lots of sculptures that had plaques to describe each one.

You can choose to purchase a wine to have whilst walking around.

You can have a wine tasting for $10 or $20. If you purchase a bottle, the cost of the wine tasting is taken off the price.

The entire place was picturesque.

Would recommend visiting the area.

Wow, wow, wow or should i say yum, yum yum! What beautiful food, so delicately put together with amazing flavours and presentation. The atmosphere is amazing too. Unfortunately the view was hazy so we couldnt see past the sculptures in garden infront of us which means we just have to go back on a clearer day! A must for food lovers!
