The waterfall is only steps from the parking lot and you can take a relatively easy hike back around through the forest to get back. I recommend this and Little Qualicum Falls park.

This attraction is a short drive for those in the Parksville - Qualicum Beach area. It appears GPS is a little iffy and the provincial park road signs are inconsistent (some stolen?) so you may be best served with a good map for one of...More

Firstly tip of the day, your Sat Nav GPS will tell you you’ve arrived about a mile or so before the waterfall car park, no need to turn left as we did heading through the forest towards the lower falls and wondering where the hell...More

We reserved our site and got ready for a relaxing stay. However, the park manager did nothing to address a group of unruly kids that the parents let run free. Screaming and riding their bikes from 7:00am and one bike had a dynocharger on it...More

The amazing view of the falls is incredible, it wasn’t too much a hike, the water, the trees just beautiful. Definitely worth seeing.

Had a lovely time camping here this weekend. The campsite was well maintained and very quiet. The park staff were very much on top of any issues that arose - and were also very friendly. The campsite had a trail that led to the waterfalls...More

The falls are nice, the woods are serene and the air is clean. Its an easy 20 - 30 minute walk from the upper to lower falls, looping back to the parking lot. We spent about an hour here. Stopping, taking pictures and generally enjoying...More

This is a very easy hike at just over 2.2 km. Nice views but too short. You will need nothing special for this hike

This is an easy hike. The highlight for the kids (7,9, 10& 12) is the swimming hole. The falls were beautiful too. The water is cold but the kids still loved playing in the stream. There's also a rock that kids (and adults) can jump...More

During the day maybe a bit especially on the weekend. All the sites are close so a noisy camper can cause issues for all.
