The amusement park won't kock your socks off, but it's still a fun place to visit in Tokyo. It's the oldest amusement park in the city and all the rides are pretty straight forward, although some of them are unexpectedly thrilling. If there's one thing...More

There aren't many rides Nor really thrilling rides here but a great place to be with the local kids and families. It was nice experience queuing for rides with largely kids and teenagers. Retro rides and decor added special charm to this place.

Old school rides. Little crowds. Entrance fee charged per pax (reasonably cheap - can't remember the fee now) and rides are charged per ride. You purchase tickets either at entrance, or at vending machines located throughout the park. It's no disneyland, but a really quaint...More

Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
