For traditional garden aficionados, this rather small garden, easily accessed from nearby Sumo arena has a little secret to know! The pond is fed by water from the nearby Sumida river, which is also fed by Tokyo bay.So, across the pond are the stepping stones...More

Small quaint park centered with a pond filled with koi and turtles... Walkways are adorned with flowering trees and maples that will rust when frost hits. Small memorial stones also dot about the park.

We stumbled across this little oasis during a visit to the sword museum. A wonderful location, serene and peaceful. Not too big, but a beautiful place to sit and contemplate life.

A haven of peace and tranquility in Tokyo. Beautifully designed to seem far bigger than it actually is. Lovely seating locations to observe nature. There's a little café nearby the front entrance if you want to grab a bite or just a drink.
