This more than 100-year-old store is best known for its extensive basement food court, the perfect place to discover the artistic Japanese take on French pastries and chocolate. Upstairs, browse the kimono sections complete with obis and other traditional accessories.

The Isetan Department Store in Shinjuku Tokyo is a 7 story high end department store designed to attract wealthy individuals. Although not my type of store, it gave me an additional perspective of Tokyo.
