We walked to the park from our hotel The Knot. It was about 1 kilometer and then another 1/2 kilometer to see the temple areas inside this park. Very beautiful and serene!

This park is right behind the Hyatt Regency and you can walk through and across the road. It is a nice place to go for a walk and relax after a busy day.

We stayed at the Hilton and could view the Park from our window. We walked through it on a very sunny day and saw many Japanese business people sitting on blue tarps enjoying their lunch break.

Yes you can. There is a section in the middle behind the waterfall (called Niagara Falls) that appears to be an off-leash area. We saw a number of dogs there every time we passed by.
