Don't expect the the famous Japanese high quality service for foreigner here. Bought a Canon G1XMarkII, touch screen do not function after a year. The staff in customer services was very rude once he realized I don't speak Japanese well.

Shinjuku is a very busy place. The west exit (camera town) is no exception. All the latest tech are all located here. Great for photography (especially at night when all the lights are on).

You can buy many things there from toys, stationaries, to electronics. We spent time looking at action figure toys, and stationaries.

As this mega store was immediately across from our Hyatt Hotel free shuttle bus stop, we ended up looking around in here. Great selection of everything electronic, not just cameras. Worth some of your time.
