Top ways to experience Shibuya Mark City and nearby attractions

The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.

It was a great experience I had so much fun walking around here. There were so much people around. It was connected to SHibuya station and it took us some time to figure out the navigation but we asked an Japanese gentleman for directions and he was kind enough to direct us to the station.

Guess this is question every traveller to Shibuya asks & so I hope this helps.
NeX: Frequent traveller
Bus: Newbie & an early bird, non peak
Shibuya station is dizzying even to avid traveller like me. Tho advantage of speed, smooth once onboard, it can be difficult for newbie. So go a day early to buy ticket cos this is another thing to navigate- youtube is gd. Then platform not difficult find- follow RED arrow on floor.
Bus from Shibuya Mark City 5/F:( Soup stock & cafe .. many restaurants) BUY ticket online. Show QR code to driver. TIP: Buy with registered ac so easy retrieve, change. IF Need change, just show QR to drivet no need cancel & rebuy as advised by counter guy. Cos website to cancel is so messy! Bus usually arr Narita in 1hr 20mins. Hope thos helps
Tip2, weather poor pls take NeX cos bus stop no cover!
Enjoy!

Nice design but not the most exciting place! Connected to JR Shibuya Station. Eateries are the best part! Clean and well kept.

Just another one of many shopping malls in Tokyo. The usual mix of stores. There is a big Daiso store though. This location seems to be a quieter part of Shibuya

Shibuya Mark City dominates Shibuya and is an excellent place to stay, shop and launch off to any other part of Tokyo or Japan. The Airport Limosine goes directly to Mark City and if you stay at the excellent Excel Hotel, you can just disembark and go right upstairs. Otherwise, the various train stations (all accessible from Mark City) allows you to connect to all other parts of Tokyo. In terms of shopping, you'll find everything from the Tokyu Department Store to many other small shops and establishments. You'll never starve at Mark City. Eateries of all sorts and price ranges abound, including the very excellent Midori Sushi which has long lines all the time. If you plan to have sushi here, go to the takeaway window where the queue is much shorter. Truly excellent and worth several return visits. The area around Mark City is also full of great attractions (sights and shops) - Hachiko statute, Shibuya Crossing, Shibuya 109, Tokyu Hands, Tower Records, HMV, Recofan. One of my great discoveries in the Shibuya area is Lion Classic Cafe - an old-style music cafe dedicated to classical music up a narrow street in Dogenzaka. Everything is within walking distance.

This is where the shibuya station is and is a small mall. The shops itself are not distinctive, but the restaurants include the famous sushi nomidori, always packed to the brim

Perfect place to merge restaurants with the Shibuya Train station & a hotel accommodation. I selected this area for our quick trip to Tokyo with easy access to NEX train to & from NRT airport. With the Shibuya Excel Hotel on the 5th floor, it was great area to explore even during late nights and early morning hours. Trip to the Midori Sushi Sohonten was another reason I picked this place.

Note that they close the area past midnight, so access to Excel hotel is through a separate door to an elevator.

Stayed at the Cerulean next door and swung by for dinner at No-midori, the famous sushi chain on the 4th floor. Many other cafes and restaurants on the 4th floor, plus a basement food hall, which japan is famous for

A lot of eateries around and good taste of foods as well. We wil there just for a walk to have our lunch cum some shopping after that. Not a bad place to spend time but not as good as when we went to Shinjuku for our lovely shopping there.
