What I loved the most about Ebisu Garden Place is its architecture and relaxing ambience. We walked around and took in the feeling of the place and had fun! There are a bunch of cafes and shops around. The place used to be a beer factory so there's a preserved signage of Sapporo Beer Station. They still have a beer... More

a beautiful space with the Beer Museum. Fantastic! Just a short walk from Ebisu Station Yamanote Line. We were impressed by the light decorations and the Christmas market there when we went there on Christmas Eve!

Ok, so I needed a break from the non-stop frenzy and craziness of endless crowds pouring in and out of streets and at subway/train stations. I stepped off the JR Yamanote train at Ebisu and took the "sky walk" travellator to Ebisu Garden Place. I was pleasantly surprised. I found the place spacious and charming with its European architecture. It... More

This is a wonderful area worth visiting if you are in Tokyo, a short elevator walk from Ebisu Station Yamanote Line. Here you will find a plethora of nice eateries, the Westin Hotel, Mitsukoshi Dept. Store, Joel Rubuchon, and more.

Opened not too long ago, had a great dinner at Konbuya restaurant. The view from the 38th Floor is least to say breathtaking considering the location. As expected, service is impeccable. Food wise, the restaurant serves Oden, not as popular as the other Japanese dishes. Still, worth a visit.

Christmas time here is nice, this is a little city in the city that has a large department store, shops of food, books and living ware, restaurants. Too much! Can enjoy the city view from the observatory on 37th floor along with restaurants around.

The Baccarat Chandelier is UP for your amusement! Amazing Giant of a chandelier!!!! Restaurants - overwhelming from Lawry's Steakhouse to the 38th floor views of multiple restaurants at Yebisu place. It is a pleasant garden and developed area that used to be the location of the Yebisu Beer factory and was devloped about twenty years ago and includes a Westin Hotel, a number of restuarnats and specialty shops and some interesting gardens and places to walk and relax outside. It is five hundred meters from Ebisu Station(Yamanote Line). You will also... More

This place has a free Christmas exhibition that comes with a well decorated Christmas tree and a huge Baccarat chandelier. That offered a great ambience and visitors took their pictures using their smartphones. Like other touristy places in Central Tokyo, everything is pricey there. But it is still perfect for photo taking. For budget travellers and the like, it is... More

First-time visitor to Tokyo. I landed around 3:00pm and got to the Westin around 4:00pm. I was pretty jetlagged and not up for exploring Tokyo the rest of the day. The best I could muster was a walk around the neighborhood, which meant the Ebisu Garden Place. It's basically a big shopping mall, with a bunch of restaurants and other... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
