Summer Tour

Went here for summer vacation with friends. I can say this place is packed with attractions. Accessible by train. And you can walk around the area. Visit at night time is good.

Odaiba is the perfect place to entertain yourself. Lots of restaurants, shops and the beach. A perfect place to entertain your kids! You can also rest on the beach if you want to. It's beautiful, fun and relax at the same time.

I would recommend patrons who have intentions to shop at a less rapid location such as Shibuya or Harajuku. Place is very beautiful.

Surprised there was so much to see and do here went for a lazy Sunday afternoon stroll and ended up having a ball on the big wheel and at the amusement arcade which had my young daughter spellbound at everybody playing the drum machines and dancing. Went back on 2 rainy days that we had to the kids nursery opposite... More

We put aside the whole day to see this. So much to experience, but also going via the monorail and seeing people driving the mariocarts on the road below was brilliant too. We went to many places on this site, you need to plan your day and do it efficiently.

This is my new favorite part of Tokyo. I found malls that house stores which offer reasonable prices in odaiba.odaiba is busy with tourists. Food courts with variety of food.Nice hotels and nice views of Tokyo bay and others. Those were my main interests for my 3 day transit through tokyo and I was happy enough.

If you want to enjoy Tokyo skyline then Odaiba is a must place to visit. It's located on the quiet side of Tokyo and can be reached easily with JR subway. Around you can also visit the famous gundam attraction and Fuji TV building.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
