Went to Odaiba two days in a row. First day, we visited the Round1 where there are many indoor games for adult and kids. A very reasonable price whare you can enjoy different games both indoor and outdoor. Outdoor at the roof top we played soccer and badminton. Indoor we played volley ball, basketball , children tried mini motor cycle.... More

For car enthusiasts, particularly Toyota, a must-visit to these extraordinary theme park-cum-showroom. From display of vintage to current models to futuristic cars. Recommend 2-3 hrs visit.

Accept a 15 minute direct transit from Hilton Odaiba and you are in the heart of the action at a third of the price. The Hilton Odaiba is fab too (incredible views of Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower, and Sky Tree together), especially if you have Exec Lounge access. Staff at Hilton are a bit too "local friendly" (prepared to get... More

We visited the Divercity shopping centre here, specifically to visit the Gundam store, which was fabulous and great value if you are kit shopping. Great range of stores for shopping and clean well appointed facilities, lots of great eating options. We came by monorail and it was a fun ride for the children.

we enjoyed our shopping at Venus outlets where there were sales at this time of the year and not crowded at all . I think it is a place where you could spend a whole day with your family there and watch the sunset from the Decks .

We have to change 3 train ride to reach Odaiba. The journey took about 1hr plus to reach. If plan for this destination, perhaps have to plan whole day trip there. We only plan the afternoon in Odaiba, and we don't have enough time to enjoy all the activities there.

Good for walking around but poor shopping. A good idea is to take a boat there from Tokyo City which is very nice.

Lots of spot to see, but it's very inconvenient for public transportation. Try free shuttle bus. いろいろな観光スポットがあって楽しめるのですが、交通機関が不便。 本数は少ないけど、無料の巡回バスがあるのでぜひ利用してみてはいかがでしょうか。

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
