We have been to this theater twice, and it's an adventure to get tickets and snacks before you even get in the theater. You purchase your tickets two ways: either purchase ahead via Internet, and there is an area to pick those tickets up that...More

IMAX, 3D, 4D --- comfortable seats, ability to reserve seats online beforehand and avoid the lines. You can drink a beer. What's not to like??? Shinjuku location in Kabukicho is the newest, but all of them are excellent.

I have been a long time fan of Roppongi Hills's cinema experience. Comfortable, assigned seats and the best freshly popped caramel popcorn in existence. It is definitely pricy but it's a high class theatre in Tokyo so what could one expect (there is a special...More

I've been here a few times - definitely worth paying more for the 3D Atmos or 4D viewings - costs around Yen 2000-2600 depending on whether you need to buy 3D glasses. I've been a few times (007: Spectre, Star Wars: Force Awakens etc) and...More

Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were
famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants,
bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the
area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot
to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art
