Best Ferris wheel in Japan

We went there as the sunset almost arrived. It was a great experience to see the change of colour for both the wheel and the surroundings. Very smooth and you don't have to share... read more

On our walk from the Panasonic centre to the Toyota megaweb, we walked across the big wheel. We didnt go on but enjoyed the views.

Worth paying to have a ride on this at night. There's 2 options of a coloured car to ride in or a see through one for the same price (had a 20 minute wait so went for the coloured one) I imagine the see through one would have been better as you could see below and above you. Has great... More

We went there as the sunset almost arrived. It was a great experience to see the change of colour for both the wheel and the surroundings. Very smooth and you don't have to share the cabin with someone else like other countries. Just a bit too short time for the fun!

Very smooth operating Ferris Wheel. Views were good, rainbow bridge wasn't changing colors yet. Needed to be later. Went just after sunset.

We chose to take the glass rather than the coloured cabins. I took a lot if pictures but they are not that clear mostly because of the glass. The pictures I took of my buddy and myself inside the car turned out fabulous. My buddy is a senior and not too steady on her feet so she was very nervous... More

Tip: the Ferris wheel has several 100 per cent transparent pods. Ask for one of those. See the ground from 190m up. Also go at night. The skyline is stunning.

If your visiting Tokyo with your family , you have to go here to Palette Town . It's a group of shopping and commercial facility which has this spectacular Ferris Wheel . The view from top there so cool and you have an option to choose the fully glass cabin or the regular ones . Go for the glass panels... More

You can overook Odaiba area, it costs 920 yen. Opens until 10 pm on weekdays and until 11 pm on weekends and holidays. I heard you may see Mt. Fuji from the top on sunny day. I wanna see it!

At nine dollars a person this is as fun 16 minutes trip on a very high ferries wheel. Good views on a clear day. Not for those very afraid of heights. Good view of the Tokyo harbor.

We've done this both during the day and late evening, you can definitely see more during the day but I prefer the evening as the rainbow bridge is stunning and the lights of the city exciting.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
