LIXILギャラリー東京の「台所見聞録」展に。暮らしに欠かせない「台所」を多面的に展示。世界の伝統的な台所や日本の台所の変遷、建築家の作った台所などを資料や模型、パネルで紹介。建築家の台所は写真のミースの「ファンズワース邸」が良かったです。8月24日まで。入場無料。撮影可能。

もともとは「ＬＩＸＩＬ」の前身のひとつ「ＩＮＡＸ」のギャラリーでした。２０１３年にリニューアルしました。今は、２階に従来同様、ギャラリーがあり、建築やインテリア、デザインなどの無料展示をしています。１階は、建築、インテリア、デザインの専門書店であるブックギャラリーとショールームになっています。名前は銀座ですが、場所は銀座の北隣、京橋にあります。

元々INAXの銀座ショールームでしたね。
その後建築関係の本屋さんやタイルショップ
などもやってました。
今はギャラリーになってデザインや芸術的な物や事を発信する基地になっている様です。

富士屋ホテルの特別展で行きました。水回りの設備メーカーLixlが運営するギャラリー。無料なのが嬉しいです。規模は大きくないので銀座で暇潰しをするのならオススメ。

その昔、INAXとかTOTOとかの看板を銀座方面から目にした方も多いと思います。ショールームとしては勿論ですが、短期間、小規模に開催される様々な企画展が開催されているのに驚きました。たまたま好きなジャンルがあるとラッキー。
隣の警察博物館や東京スクエアガーデンと共に、京橋での時間つぶしにお勧めです。

定期的に企画展を入れ替えているようですが、いつも斬新な視点の企画の案内葉書をいただいてます。デザイン分野を中心とした専門書籍販売も充実しており、ここに来ると感性が磨かれるような気になれます。

LIXILが運営する建築やデザイン関連の展示を行うギャラリーで、二階にテーマ別に3つの展示スペースがあります。以前の会社であったINAXが運営してた頃から定期的に訪れていて小さいギャラリーながら良い展示をしています。内容的には建築や専門の人向けのものもありますが現在の展示の「ふるさとの駄菓子」展など誰が見ても楽しめます。京橋駅徒歩1分の場所にあり、銀座に行くついでに訪れるのにおすすめです。
