Good shopping area, however for top end brands: prada, chanel, this kind. There are also cheaper options, but most of the stores in this area are very expensive. You can find many malls, apple store and plenty of restaurant choices.

Nice area to visit and shop in, especially on Sundays when various streets are blocked off around Noon to allow for heavy pedestrian traffic.

Ginza is the posh district of Tokyo, filled with tall buildings and expensive shops. Senso Jii Shrine is nearby, but personally I prefer to stay in Shibuya or Shinjuku

Great eye candy but pricey shopping. Bargains can be had - take your passport for tax-free deals. Recommend UniGlo

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular

I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel not in Ginza but Kyobashi. This is newer and is a quick walk to Ginza. Loved the cleanliness and the attention that the staff gave us.
