Great place to visit if you love to eat fresh fish or sushi. Choose from a variety of welcoming shops and restaurants. Fish is also sold in this market but be sure to arrive early as the best fish tends to sell out early in the morning.

On a chilly day with sunshine, we join this local market. We had yummy and fresh sashimi, then wandered at the alleys and ended up with delicious ice cream!

Resist the temptation of the outside market, go to the little alleys in the inner market as prices are much better there. The Chirashi bowls are so good and so reasonably priced!

This is great for a lunch time trip through the market. Bring plenty of Yen for the street food. If you enjoy super fresh fish this is the place. Many of the sushi bars have a line to get in and they get crowded quickly....More

Sure it is an impressive place by the history. But it is not more than a fish market surround by flea markets. It worths a visit, but do not expect something outstanding as I was.

A bucket list for sashimi lovers and those love to visit wet market. About 20mins walk from Ginza main street. The Tokyo's iconic Tsukiji fish market is confirmed moving over to the Toyosu waterfront district and will open its door on 11 Oct 2018.

Ok so I had really high expectations of having a great time here. We went in the afternoon and was really disapointed. So obviously we missed the morning fish sales and auction, but all we really saw were boxes of fish being driven around on...More

No visit to Tokyo can be complete without breakfast at Tsukiji Market. Take advantage of your jet lag and wake up at 5 a.m., have a hearty early morning stroll (Tokyo will never look so eerily calm, empty and quiet) and arrive in time for...More

We were at the fish market on New Year's Eve Day, so it was extremely crowded and busy. We got a "tuna 3 different ways" bowl, and it was one of the freshest, most incredibly delicious meals ever. Pure magic.

This was one of the best places we visited in Tokyo, and I would rate it as a must see destination. Seeing the hustle and bustle of the outer market, and the huge inner market was truly amazing. Watching the fishmongers breakdown a massive tuna...More

Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over

It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
