I am sure older kids and adults will get more from it than little ones, but I found that the costume dress-up was a lot of fun. My son got a little bored on some floors... so maybe good for and hour or two, but...More

IT is a free museum in Ginza area. It's fun to take pictures outside the museum as they have some police bikes there for you to 'ride' on

This was a nice little museum but would not be high on my list of must visit museums in Tokyo. There are police motorcycles on the ground floor which provided very popular photo opportunities for children. The museum upstairs was worth a visit but was...More

Good for a look. There is a very limited guide in English telling you the basics of what is on each floor and that is about it. Would have been good to read about the different exhibits though. Very friendly and helpful staff. Museum is...More

This museum is good for kids so that they can wear the police uniform and take photographs. Also it has displays of old uniform as used by Japanese Police

Ok, I admit to an interest in police history so this small museum at the beginning of Ginza was a natural. It has children based exhibits about the current police on the ground floor, and a historical collection on the second floor. Although the collection...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
