I watch Kabuki and Bunraku (puppet theater). Tickets are reasonably priced and the performers are top-notched. You will find the theater right along one side of the Imperial Palace and near the National Diet (legislative) building.

Your trip to Japan is not complete without this - just being part of the audience, many dressed in period garb and lovingly adoring the actors - it is just a fantastic experience - go, please go!
