Marunouchi is one of my favorite area in Tokyo. It's not as hustle bustle as Akihabara of Shinjuku. It's modern, quainter and absolutely beautiful. I love to find eateries here. I love window shopping here. The Christmas lights are gorgeous. We walked in this area...More

Nice business district and felt like I am local like others. Not many tourists, so I could enjoy slow walk. I went for lynch and it was lunch time for office business people so I could peek into the local business people’s lunch menu too....More

This is a great area away from the madness of the Ginza and other overcrowded neighborhoods. Many of the office buildings have wonderful malls with interesting shops, restaurants and local sights. It’s close to the Imperial gardens and convenient to the Tokyo Train Station. I...More

This reminds me of New York's Fifth Avenue. Very posh, but not really with much more than a collection of international name brands.

Large office complexes but also a large variety of coffee shops and restaurants. Great variety. Beautiful shops including large number of designer shops. Good area to stroll without any problems.

A bit offside the main shopping area of Ginza this is the part I prefer most for leisure time. Not that many tourists what you easily figure out due to the level of English spoken in the shops. Is a bit Londonesque. Very nice area...More

If you live in a big City - the most remarkable part of this district is the cleanliness and green spaces. Other than that not particularly impressive - big Cities tend to offer same goods services (Starbucks/Peninsula Hotel/High End Shopping etc)

There are quite a number of shops around the area. You can sit down for a nice cup of coffee and relax or you can browse and shop around.

This is a business district. Nothing much to do unless you shop at the Dimaru and also under the main station. There is a building that has restuarant on the upper floors. The Palace grounds are 10mins walk away and if you are going there,...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
