The monument is lovely but there's no plaque or description of the importance of the sculpture. Drop in to the hotel next door for a cocktail by the pool.

Just a small area with a monument. It would be nice if there's someone explaining the story behind it. There are souvenir shops near that added to it as a stopover, but again nothing much.

Nothing special... It's just a common statues of historical people in Philippines. Anyway just lucky enough to buy souvenirs with cheaper price.

A busy place when we visit. Statues of 5 persons, Spanish and leader of Bohol over 500 years. A compact of blood to ensure the unity between them. Many souvenir to buy

Family came to visit from US and we got an island tour. This was our first stop and has interesting history about the island and a good photo shoot. We went in the am (9ish) and waited maybe 5 minutes to take our picture, if you go later it gets crowded and could eat up your time.

It's a monument. Nothing special. It was at the end of our tour and we liked it. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it though.

A historical place! It's nice to see a where our history happened. In addition, we bought summer hats for 100pesos each and a lot cheaper souvenirs. The view to the sea is also a sight not to be missed.

Blood Compact Monument in Tagbilaran City is a landmark at the site of the first international treaty of friendship between Spaniards and Filipinos. Behind the monument is a magnificent view of Bohol Sea.

It is a monument in memory of a historical event (a blood compact between a local chieftain and a spaniard several hundred years ago). However, nowadays, it is normally just used by tourists to take wacky or interactive pictures of themselves with the statues. Pros: - it's free (no entrance fee). - it is along the way to visit other... More
