We were driving form Toledo to Granada so the Consuegra windmills were a minor diversion. Interesting windmills and a view of the surroundings.

We did not spend a lot of time here. Probably only about 20 minutes for pictures and then we left. When we came here back in December, it was super windy and cold. And because I am afraid of heights, I was a little scare...More

These windmills carried the history as well as the attraction of the small township. A bit windy but acceptable. The windmills are well maintained.

Windmills in a lovely setting - having seen drawings of Don Quixote and the windmill 'giants' I really wanted see them for real. The setting is dramatic on the ridge above Consuegra and the seven windmills in a row (there are 11 in total) really...More

One has to try to visit on a windy september day, when there is not a lot of tourists and one can replicate the scenes of Don Quixote. The place is charming, like the still image of an era long gone. You can visit some...More

There is a very charming restaurant with lovely terrace/garden called El Cardenal which I would recommend very much for the site and the traditional Mancha cuisine. For a visit of the town or the windmills, I thought you... More
