An interesting church - on the way into the center from the parking area. For anyone interested in Catholic churches this would be great.

This Gaudi-esque church is what catches your eye as you approach Arucas. It is impressive and in our opinion is best viewed from outside. Inside it is rather plain and has no 'wow' factor.

There is something strange about this place. Despite its 'gothic' style, they only finished building it 40 years ago. And they are quite upfront about the fact that they chose the style to show off the skills of the local stone mason trade. The result is a church that doesn't look like it belongs in the place, and is only... More

A impressing building in a charming town. Well worth a visit both the town and the church. Make a stop here.

We stopped off here for 30 minutes as part of an Island "highlights" tour. It is a nice looking building and worth spending half an hour looking round it but I wouldn't spend much longer than that.

Amazing church often miscalled Cathedral. Very impressive when seen for the first time. Unfortunately was not open for visits at the time of my visit but you can walk around it and there is a nice square to sit and enjoy the view and sunshine. The whole surrounds are very quiet. Also when you go up the mountain you can... More

Well worth a stop here to have a look around a lovely church. There is silence inside but you can take pictures. There are some stunning stained glass windows and chandeliers.

We went primarily to tour the Arehucas Ron distillery and factory, but amazed at this very dramatic and beautiful area around the church , parks, cobbled streets, cafés and friendly locals !! Parking no problem either .. another must do in the stunning north of Gran Canaria..

Entry into the cathedral is three euros per person, quite a grand interior if not slightly eerie. There is a lovely square just outside the cathedral which is a prime opportunity for a photo!
