Went by tram to Benidorm. Beautiful trip alongside the coast, which only cost about 7 euros. Easy to use pay stations. Lots of stops at lovely beaches along the way. The trams run every thirty minutes.

The trams are clean, cheap, they run on time and are not over crowded. What more can you say. There are ticket machines on every tram with language selection for English users.

Its easy to get a bus to the Alicante Center. You can take it right in front of the Airport exit and stop near Lucero Station, and than get the tram :)

I think so, all the major stations in Alicante have lifts, the others are above ground so shouldn't pose a problem, u may have to cross lines but there r ramps at all the stations.
