The tram service is clean, comfortable and really good value. We had one rainy day during our visit and just hopped on and off the tram as and when the rain came and went. Got to see lots of areas we wouldn't have got to otherwise and the tickets are really good value.

We caught this tram from Altea to Alicante. It was nice to see the houses, gardens and countryside on the journey. The seats are hard so you do start to get a bit fidgety towards the end of the journey.

Arrived at station and found information readily avvailable. Tram cost 6 euro for return journey to Benidorm. Trams were clean and tidy but no toilets in station or on tram. Great views of coastline from Alicante to Benidorm and took about 55 mins. Well worth giving it a go.

You get the Line 1 tram to Benidorm, then change to the connecting tram on line 9 for Denia. There is currently work on the track... More

Tram was on time, clean and quite cheap (a return journey Alicante to Benidorm for two cost around 12 Euros). The journey was over an hour, but it was relaxing and the scenery was interesting. The only downside was the two young men who decided to smoke on the tram, even though it's illegal and there wasn't a guard in... More
