Wonderful time on this tour of Montserrat and the Oller del Mas. Vito and crew gave us an informative review of the history of Barcelona on a 50 min trip to the monastery. After visiting the basilica we were given an hour of free time to hike to the cross or shop etc. Instead of visiting the museum I would have preferred to shop more than I did as the have great gifts. We then loaded back on the bus for a 30 min trip to the winery. It was a beautiful property and our wine and tapas were amazing. They accommodated my gluten allergy with g-f bread sealed in a bag and other amazing food. Wine was delicious and fun to know its heritage. Your tour guide stays with you during the entire day. After the tasting we went to the wine bar and got to purchase a glass of wine and olive oil. It was the perfect tour.

This place is ideal to relax. The cabins are well equipped and are located in a very quiet part of a small forest and all of them have different views. Ours was placed with a fantastic view towards the Montserrat mountain and this scenery is spectacular.
We loved the restaurant, which serves very good dinner and also the service was excellent there. There are few small things like the communication before arrival that need attention by the hotel management as on this level you would expect an almost perfect service overall. However we had to chance to meet with the manager and owner and he reacted in a very professional way, was open to listen and promised to address this during his next staff meeting. Overall we had a very good time.

After visiting Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey we ventured here for wine and tapas. Our guide did a fantastic job of explaining the history of the winery, the different types of wines and the tapas we tried. The wine was very good and we happened to try an “orange” type of wine--which was ok, but wouldn’t purchase again. Other than the limited time available to visit, due to it being a guided tour, the only disappointment was the winery not having any wine glasses available for purchase as I typically like to collect them.

Really great experience as part of a tour. Had a great lunch accompanied by some wonderful wines. We loved the fact that it was all organic and made locally. We then had a great tour of the castle and view of the surrounding landscape. We shipped home a few bottles of the wines, but wish we had sent more!!

I’ve been trying to get in touch with them to book a tour with them via whatsapp and email and they don’t respond. I have a group of 14 and wanted to book the tour.
The person on whatsapp stopped responding to my messages and calls and even emails after we finalised all details, then i messaged from another number to which i received an instant reply, i mentioned my requirement. Since the person figured out i was the same person, no response on the other number either. Since then i’ve been constantly ignored by this person.
I don’t understand what kind of treatment this is. Utterly disgusting and disrespectful.

My adult daughter and I visited Oller del Mas as part of a Montserrat tour out of Barcelona. It was spectacular! We tasted 3 wines and had tapas. We also walked around part of the winery. The views of Montserrat mountain are not to be missed. I wish our guide had known more about the ancient history of the winery buildings. I would definitely consider spending a night at this facility and learning more. The wines we tried were excellent too.

What is the dress code ? Are shorts ok ?
Casual is fine, if you come to visit the winery shorts are ok! If you want to enjoy a dinner I recommend you to wear some sweater and troussers or skirt

Desde Barcelona se puede llegar en tren. La estación esta relativamente cerca del Oller, aunque es probable que alli tengas que coger un taxi para acercarte.

can you just arrive here and have lunch. we will be driving so one of us can't taste the wine. So is the wine tour still worth it? and if it is can you just arrive and book on a tour or do you need to prebook it

I would strongly recommend booking a tour. They don't have many staff and you may not be able to get a tour without booking. The tour is the best thing about Oller del Mas. Honestly, the wine is not that great.

We are thinking of doing a tour that includes a visit and tapas at Oller del Mas but we will have our two kids with us (8, 11) Has anyone taken kids? Do they have beverages for the kids to enjoy in addition to the adults' wine? Appreciate any feedback, thanks.

Hi! In my group there wasn't any kids. However the tour guys are awesome. They will get you anything you need really to have the best experience. After the monastery we went to oller for the wine tasting. We had tapas wine and water but they do have other options if you ask.
