This was a bucket list visit for our teenage boys. Since it is considered off season we were the only visitors. The memorial is breathtaking and for Canadians such a privilege to visit.

You will need to take a couple of hours here minimum to take it all in. You have the monument, the cemetery and the trenches and craters near the information center. It was closed when we visited so I cannot comment on that aspect. Hard...More

I have always appreciated what an excellent and magnificent memorial Vimy is, as a commemoration and tribute to Canadians who lost their lives during World War One - that will always endure. However, I had been looking forward to visiting the new Visitor Centre which...More

The memorial simply took my breath away. We had the benefit of being there on November 11th but any day is worth the trip. Not to be missed.

This is a site to commemorate the Canadian involvement in World War 1. The guides are all exchange students who come across from Canada and live on France for months at a time, they are very polite and know their stuff. Our guide was impressed...More

The guides are Canadian students and are very good. The tour of the trenches was excellent. The center itself is very well done with a comprehensive visual discussion of the war and Canadian troop involvement. While there visit the memorial a visually stunning edifice.

This is a well presented place and our guides Emma was amazing. You get to walk in the footsteps of the allied troops in their trenches, see no man's land and walk the German trenches too. It certainly gives you a proper view of the...More

We didn’t pre book when we went in May. I’m unsure if you are able to pre book, look on line to see as it will be busy this time of year.
