I went as a part of a group tour. It was a nice hike to the top and to get the view. Not good for those with poor balance or not in shape.

This geological wonder is outstanding. It is somewhat of a climb to the top, especially if you have health or mobility issues, but well worth the effort. There are dozens of beautiful rock formations with outstanding vistas at the top. It was one of the highlights of our two weeks in Eastern Europe.

The rock formation definitely makes the already excellent experience in the fortress that little bit better. The signposts throughout give you the names of the formations and what they are supposed to represent, with our tour guide giving us the stories behind them, pretty much all of them involve someone or something falling for a beautiful woman.

All part of your ridiculously low entry fee of the fortress.

This is a series of great rock formations that they have set stairs and ladders around so you can climb around. It's not as spectacular or expansive as the red rocks in southern Utah in the USA (like Zions National Park), but it is an enjoyable couple of hours to climb around and enjoy the views.

I visited the place using a 4 x 4 wheel tour offered by local person, easy to contact, see ice cream stand on the main square in front of the fortress
Ot cost you only 20 Leva pwr pwroson or 50 leva in my case as one on one tour
Excetional to see not only the rocks from the foetresss ( of course don't miss it and please remain in order to experience the beauty of the place at least for 1, 5 h)
The 4 x4 tour takes 1, 5 hours, it it defiantly an awesome experience
If you want to see the rocks from a restaurant the best place is in town, it is called the stone thought, food is OK, but the view is exceptional
Most important for me travelling with dog : I could enter the fortress and take the tour with my small dachshund
Enjoy it with your pet!

Magnificent view, massive sandstone and limestone rock formations that tower over the town. The rocks were sculpted over millions of years by natural compression. Several hiking trails of varying difficulty lace through the rocks.
