Getting to Yomiuri was rather challenging. Had to take a train followed by a short local bus ride to Yomiuri Land. But all was forgiven when we got there. The place is huge!!! Lots of rides and carnival games to play. Advise to buy the...More

From Shinjuku Station we had to take the Keio Line to Yomiuri Land Station. Had to transfer at Chufo Station. Counter only opens at 3.30pm and gate opens at 4pm. We arrived early so had drinks at the nearby Shakeys Pizza Parlor. It cost ¥1400...More

My family and I arrived at Yomiuri Land just in time for lunch. We planned to stay til the evening to catch the winter illumination that it is known for. It’s no Disneyland but we had a lot of fun with the rides. We went...More

Came at night for the illuminations and was not disappointed. The park had put on 'projection mapping' shows and various other events all evening which were lots of fun. Perhaps the park is in decline but we didn't need to queue for anything. There are...More

We were here on a Monday in April, and we were practically alone. It was no line anywhere, could just go straight on to the rides. Main attraction was the Bandit, super fun roller coaster. Access from Shinjuku is super easy, only a 30 minutes...More

On a weekday this place is GREAT because the lines are minimal and you pretty much have the place to yourselves. Which is good because there really isn't anything special about this park. It's old, fairly run down and in need of a face lift....More

Very fun place to visit. It was cold out so it wasn't too busy. Definitely would recommend visiting. Wonderful time and not too far from the train station by taxi.

Here for the summer firefly event held at "Seichi Park" on Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays in June - it is a 7-minute walk from the entrance of Yomiuri Land following the signs. Quite a few more fireflies than "Yuyake Koyake Fureai no Sato" near Takao but also a...More
