My wife and I visited yesterday. We enjoyed the experience. As a mature couple we remember WW2. The tour is educational, the tearoom is good and the prices are reasonable (we recommend the toasted tea cakes)

Joined conducted tour which was welcoming and very informative. Guide was ex-RAF Can get quite close to the aircraft, but not within touching distance. Many were undergoing some maintenance in the hangar which we toured, which lead to some interesting stories.

In the area to stay and thought a visit to the BBMF Visitor centre would be worth a visit. We hadn't done any research so didn't have any idea of what a visit entailed. A small museum greets you as you enter the building, full of interesting information about the aircraft and their histories. As you walk into the shop... More

A very interesting visit to the hangar containing the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight planes - except for the Lancaster which is still being repaired at Duxford. Very helpful, friendly staff on the tour and in the shop. the free exhibition in the shop is a worth a look even without the guided tour of the hangar. All fully manual... More

I had the immense pleasure of visiting on Tuesday with my husband. We went on the guided tour which was led by an amazingly knowledgeable and passionate ex Vulcan pilot. His stories about the airmen that had flown the beautiful aircraft were poignant and heartfelt. I'm afraid I can't remember his name but he should be congratulated on doing a... More

I'm sorry to have to disagree with the overwhelming tide of positive reviews here - I fully appreciate the merit of the battle of Britain Memorial flight but as a place to visit, it's awful. There's nothing in it for children - nothing interactive and nothing you can touch. What you actually get is a look inside the repair workshop,... More

My wife Deana is recovering from a serious and is now enjoying short visits to Tea Rooms. Not exactly a tea room, more of a 1940s cafe, but nevertheless one I knew she would enjoy. The tea cake was delicious as was the large cup of Stokes coffee ( probably the best liked coffee in Lincolnshire. ) As we sat... More

Great place to visit if you're mad on planes, especially Spitfires. Their star attraction is the Lancaster but if thats not there then you will get 10% discount on tickets.
