Set outside tumbarumba this museum tells the story of the area but from a womans perspective although there is a really good reading room Lovely lunch and room full of quilts that people seemed to love

Great resource depicting life for women in the country. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We paid the $5 extra to view the quilt section and adjoining rooms. Everything is so clean and well presented. The grounds are lovely for a picnic and the toilets are spotless.

Excellent museum well worth it. So much to do and see around Tumbarumba. Free camping at Henry angle track head was wonderful. The bird life fabulous.

Lots of interesting historical information, old farming equipment,and a good quilting display. Certaining worth a visit, an hour is enough to see everything.

The craft shop here that is run by local women is AMAZING!!!! If you want to buy home made, interesting and top quality gifts (or for yourself) for ridiculously cheap prices, then this is the place. We never pass through Tumba without stopping in. Jams,...More
