the boat ride out was a good way to see the island. On landing we headed away from the sun beds to the quiet end where we spent a lovely relaxing day - very crowded at the sun bed end athough the taverna looked good.

A small island off the coast of Ouranopoli. It takes boat 15 minutes and EUR10 for a return ticket to get you there. A nice beach with free sun loungers and traditional greek snacks. I liked the one on the right of the pier.
For me and my wife the best part of Drenia were the ones with no croud at all. The desert island was the best and peacefull. For the kids on the oposite the best was the green island that had beach bar and water games....More
