    Nice place to stay
Stayed here (in or nearby) 9 times over the years, in 4 different hotels & 2 different apartments, & still enjoy it as a nice relaxing place to visit. Quiet, but with enough good restaurants & bars to enjoy, although we have lost 3 of our favourites recently, Ocean View, Restaurante Tamara & Restaurante Paraiso del Sol have all closed down. Their replacements are Bistro 22, a lively place but more pricey. Also Restaurante EnSalitre & Mijia, which we didn't try but looked more expensive than our budget. If you want a quiet holiday this could be the place to come, but beware it is very hilly.

    Great view from the top
Caught the bus from Playa de las America's to Los Gigantes. The bus takes you a good way down the hill so it's not do much of an uphill struggle on the way back. We broke it up with a cafe break half way between the sea and the bus stop. Nice area with a few shops, bars at the bottom.

    Beautiful location
Lovely little town with beautiful views and great walking trails into the hills. Also it's a fantastic location for whale watching. Lots of cafes , bars and restaurants. Nice cosmopolitan mix of people from all over the world. Can highly recommend.

    Great day out
Well worth a visit for the day. There are boat trips to see dolphins and whales and there is a lovely little beach by the harbour. Gets a lot of sun too. Not sure I would want to stay there though. Not much there except hotels.

Stopped here on the way back to Los Cristianos after driving to Masca.
Lovely town, impressive cliffs, parking difficult and the beach was so crowded we didn't stop. Part closed by a landfill I think.
We stopped further down the coast at Playa San Juan instead (photo of beach attached) . Very nice little relaxed town - good black sand beach (+ pebbles). Not many Brits there.

!!!!DANGEROUS!!!!!!! Stay away. This place is not guarded by anyone and has NO clear signs of where/what’s safe. My friend and I were exploring on the rocks, maybe 10 feet left of our bags and the rest of the group. Where she was then swiped off her feet by a massive wave leaving her with gashes and cuts on her feet and legs from the impact of the wave onto the sharp sharp rocks. This is not safe, nor do I recommend to anyone in the area!!!!

We drove down to the coast to view the cliffs, but even in February the town was very busy and difficult to find somewhere to park . The only place we could find to view the cliffs was from the balcony of a cafe. It was a bit hazy when we were there but the cliffs are stunning as they dramatically fall into the sea . Not really much else you can say , I would make a special journey to go there , but nice to stop and see if passing

Los Gigantes is basically a huge rockfall that goes Into the sea, quite spectacular looking, and a great photo opportunity.

To be fair that is it,...there is very little else there that you can't, see,buy ,or get from anywhere else, expensive area to eat at,and they make the most of the opportunity to make a fast "buck".
From playa da las Americas its about an hour+ on the bus, which can be a nightmare ,especially the return journey, and around 6€,for the bus each way, in a taxi its 43€ ,the bus seems to stop every 100 meters.

Boat trips are available there at around 25€ for two hours.

worth a visit but don't let your expectations get the better of you.

Great little town with lots of bars and restaurants - will hopefully be back very soon. In general a little more pricey for food and drinks than other parts of the island but worth every penny more
