The place is great. with all those landscape sceneries. Super clear sea. we could observe ancient port, ruins of ancient civilization. Some parts were so obvious that you could feel that someone actually lived there back in time. my only regret is i wish we'd spent more time there.

We had a fantastic day with Barbie, he was very informative throughout the day and great fun.
The day was very well planned and we had two lovely swimming stops which were really wonderful. Lunch was provided which was ideal and delicious.
Quite a bit of kayaking but we had two first timers in our group and they managed very easily. The sunken city is more the case of sunken rocks but it is still well worth doing just don’t expect to see anything amazing under water!
Highly recommended, easy to locate ( we came off a cruise ship)and a fabulous day out with a great guide.

Private boat day, not just a tour. Stop and reach out to AVCI 2 Boat with Mehmet Ayranci - WhatsApp # +90 536 331 78 09 for this and his boat tour of this entire area. We booked a half day and then extended into a full day. Absolute highlight of our time in Turkey, incredible. Castles, snorkeling, sunken cities, stopped at his friends restaurant on the water to pick up white wine for us, incredible day.

It was an exceptional experience and our tour guides were so thoughtful and made sure we had a good time. I would do this again if I have the opportunity.

We drove here ourselves and wished to hire a canoe to view the sunken city but were told you need a guide for a canoe tour which needs to be booked in Kas!
So, we asked if we could hire a private boat and were given ridiculous prices of 800-1000tl for 2 hours. Then we found 'Rambo' who was reasonably priced. He gave us an unforgettable experience...zany and funny, it was a superb tour around the area and back in port we had a good chat while he served us tea and biscuits. We recommend Rambo boat.

The ancient cities ruins of Simena are incredibly intriguing, especially if you have an active imagination. Think back centuries and centuries ago when this enormous city was a living a thriving community before nature took it under the sea. Imagine people walking the stone walkways. Imagine a market place where people traded and sold their goods. Fortunately this is a highly protected area and only viewable by glass bottom boat or other vessels where you travel along the length of the city which is easily done due to the incredibly crystal clear waters along the Turkish Mediterranean coastline. No scuba diving or snorkeling is allowed as it is a protected site. We were 12 people on board a traditional Turkish gulet arranged with Adventure4ever.com traveling from Fethiye to Kemer. It was an incredible journey of 10 days, this location being one of our favourite of all. Highly recommend a visit or even better an overnight in this area as there is much to sea and do.

If you are especially on the west coast of Antalya, I strongly reccomend you to take a boat trip for the Kekova Sunken City. The trip would be almost best combination of ancient historical site visit, swimming, and sight seeing of natural beauties. Kekova is a large region including the island of the Kekova, Kalekoy, and Ucagiz villages. In early 1990s, the Kekova Area is declared specially protected area. During the Kekova Boat Trip, you can come across the underwater ruins of Dolchiste, an ancient Lycian settlement. The settlement was sunken by some devastating earthquakes around the 2nd century BC. The boat trips are organized in and around Kas area (town center, Ucagız, and Andreake). Please enjoy your full day trip of lunch having, photo taking, and swimming tour.

The boat trip includes a lunch barbecue which was really nice
There is no place to swim in Ucagiz so the day out on the boat was fun
The tour stopped lots of times to let you swim and the water is beautiful and clear
Oh and warm in August
The sunken city isn’t really visible from the boat it’s mostly on land but still impressive no less
Good day out and good value 👍

Although you cannot swim at the Sunken City, only one part allows for swimming, contact a tour boat operator and invest in a boat tour to find out where, which I think is a good way to spend a day out on the water to see the island.
