This is the best place to see the sunset. The sand part is huge, however, it can get crowded, you better arrive early and avoid weekends. The samd os bright white and the sea is really blue. The water is very cold though. ( in Arraial do Cabo all of the beaches have a really cold water).
There are some dunes that are great to sit and relax. On the left corner, you can go up, near the lifeguard house and have an amazing view fonthe beach from above.

The beach is a spectacle! White and extremely fine sand. Several options of kiosks and street vendors along the beach. On the boardwalk, there are several restaurants offering different types of dishes and prices. The friendliness of the sellers attracts attention, as does their insistence.
The sea is rougher and there are flags along the beach, so it is not recommended for children. EXTREMELY cold water.
With all the pros and cons, it is one of the places I loved most in Arraial!

40 km of crystal clear water with waves to surf. White, thin and soft sand. Amazing sunset. Perfect place to chill! There is a trail to reach the top of the hill by it to have better spot of the sunset. Def worth it.

The beach is beautiful! But the water temperature is so, so cold that it is not inviting for swimming. You arrive and they fight to take you to the tents. We were 3 adults and a child, in a simple umbrella with two chairs and the agreement was that the rent, R$80.00, could be converted into any consumption. We were on the clock for 18 minutes, because the tent's lack of structure, the freezing sea and the wind weren't pleasing. We consumed R$60.00 in beer just to honor the agreement and aware that there was a minimum consumption, we went there to pay the R$80 (which we didn't even consume). But they didn't accept it. They wanted to charge R$80.00 more for rent, because they said it wasn't worth drinking just beer! We questioned that this was not specified before we sat down. The boy made serious threats that sounded like an actual robbery. My husband, as PF, set up the threat and extortion and before he called for support, they stopped the threats and accepted the payment of the R$80.00 consummation as previously agreed. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be an isolated fact and, when cornered, people end up being forced to pay. This tarnishes the city's image. It is unnecessary for any tourist to go through this! And it's really dangerous! There are a lot of infinitely better beaches to go to. It's just beautiful, but see it online because it has no other attractions other than the view.

The beach is beautiful, but a little dirty and with cold water (I found it colder than the other beaches in Arraial). This beach has a slightly less bad structure than the others, as there are some bathrooms in some tents (there are none on the other beaches). Now, if you are a tourist, especially if you are from São Paulo DO NOT GO TO THIS BEACH, I was threatened and offended by the attendants at a stall. The thing is that there is a lot of harassment to make you stay in a tent, they don't give you peace for a second, so my husband wanted to stay in an umbrella. The attendant assured us that we would only pay for what we consumed, as we arrived early and only intended to have a beer. When paying the bill, they wanted us to pay 80 reais (and not 20 reais, which would be correct for our consumption). It was a nuisance, they offended us and threatened us with aggression. We left the place quickly and I felt sick afterwards (I have high blood pressure). When I arrived at the hotel, they informed me that this type of abusive and offensive practice only occurs with "São Paulo" tourists, therefore with a different "accent" and it must be true, because at the next table, there were two women who said that nothing like this had happened. with them. So, don't go to this beach if you don't want to be made an idiot of (paying more than normal) or be threatened.

KIOSQUE DO ALEXANDRE They offered us some chairs and a table all broken, free if we consumed. We consumed 135R and he demanded that we pay him 120R for the cost of materials (which were the chairs and the table) since we did not go to fight we paid him a total of 255R, an abuse!! This man is dark with dyed blonde hair so they don't go and fall for his lies! Their sun umbrellas are red, here's a photo!

In this idyllic coastal setting, Praia Grande do Arraial do Cabo reveals itself to be a shadowy paradise, where promises of tranquility are overshadowed by shady commercial practices. The stalls, initially welcoming, betray visitors' trust by changing prices and ignoring agreements on service fees. The promised exemption from umbrella fees disappears at the time of payment, transforming the seaside experience into a real financial challenge.
The flannels, like unwanted shadows, force tourists to pay an unexpected toll upon arrival, contributing to the impression that even entry into paradise has a price. The incessant approach of street vendors, trying to sell products at any cost, creates a tumultuous environment, where peace and dialogue at the seaside become almost impossible.
However, there is a light on the horizon: Prainha de Arraial do Cabo. A serene haven where only families and polite people find an oasis away from commercial traps. In this untouched corner, the true paradisiacal essence of this region shines, offering an authentic and hassle-free coastal experience.

The water is literally frozen, filled with umbrellas and tables. You have several prices that vary from 100 reais to 30 reais without consumption as you move away from the main entrance. We consumed 2 beers and a can of soda and they charged us 40 reais and a 20 tip and we stayed all day. The wonderful sunset, it is worth staying to watch it. The negative: the lack of awareness regarding garbage, especially among Brazilians, they leave dirty diapers, bags and cans lying on the beach.

I had read several comments about the beauty of the beach, which is a fact. Fine white sand, clear water (very cold) and a spectacular blue, but it does not have adequate structure. We were approached by "supposed" employees of Quiosque do Alexandre, who presented us with a menu with exorbitant prices for snacks and umbrellas (which, by the way, were old and rusty). Given what we saw, we chose not to stay there. It's not worth going.

The beach is beautiful! Clean, close to shops, excellent for spending a sunny day. Pay attention to the beach huts: they offer you chairs and umbrellas, but you have to consume a "snack"... At an overpriced price and poor quality.

Então a escolha do local e importante.
