It wasn't bad

The zoo is constantly modernising which is needed and is vastly improving some of the current animal accommodation.. It's a nice place to go for a day trip if in the area.

We took some friends to the Chateau Sauvage on a warm Sunday morning, we did not really know what to expect so it was a great surprise when we entered the park to have the vista of the lake with the flamingos and other birds. As you walk around the park you will find the antelopes and wallabies; if you... More

A delightful family outing where walabies and antelopes live in harmony and complete freedom to come give you a nuzzle. The birds are equally charming and friendly with stunning pink flamingos, black swans, and peacocks strolling at your side. - The park is natural and so are the pathways. Guests are asked to be kind enough to stay on the... More

We visited the Reserve Zoologique de Sauvage in early August. The visit consists of the walking tour of the park of an historical property. With a young child, it took us about 2h30min to do the tour, however it could probably be done in less than 1 hour at a faster pace We enjoyed the experience. First the park is... More

No cages, or only one or two, only the sounds of the peacocks and the flamingos. A quiet place where you might see animals hopping, running, stopping and staring at you completely unafraid. Expensive because there is a lot of upkeep involved but a rather fairytale, non-Disney place. No food allowed but a beautiful meadow on the other side of... More

Pleasant - pretty setting, spectacular birds, lots of other wildlife BUT Ridiculously expensive - 42 euros for three adults and 2 children, for a walk of less than an hour (forbidden to go the grass, and no information provided on the animals)

Pink flamingos, deer, wallaby, wandering freely in the beautiful and big park, a lot of exotics birds, this place is really nice and relaxing, a perfect place to have a little picnic surrounded by wild animals...but the weather needs to be dry and warm, otherwise it´s still interesting but a bit dull.
